He was born December 27, 1954 to the late Edna Cole and William James Cole Sr. Fondly known as Uncle Jo Tex was the 5th oldest of 10 children.

He received his education in Baltimore City Schools. He loved to draw outstanding art work.

He leaves to mourn: four brothers, Ronald, Jimmy and Barry Wilson also Anthony Cole; two sisters, Rebecca Adams and Lorraine Stewart; one brother-in-law, Kirk West; one sister-in-law, Barber Parker and a host of nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
