WILLIAM FAULKNER was born on April 14, 1948 to the late Curtis Blue and Gladys Mae Faulkner in Baltimore, Maryland. Shortly after being diagnosed with cancer, the Lord called His son home to glory on October 9, 2013... 'No more pain or suffering it's time to rest, My child". He received his education at Old Lake Clifton High School in Baltimore, MD and turned his knowledge into employable skills. He began his employment career by landing his first job with Bethlehem Steel here in Baltimore, MD. His persistence to expand his skills allowed him to further gain employment with Maryland Drydock Shipyard in Baltimore, MD then to Schmidt Baking Company in Baltimore, MD (from which he eventually retired). Never a man to be satisfied with sitting around the house, and in an effort to keep himself busy, (while in retirement) he began employment with Dunbar Armor Company until he was unable to continue working due to his health. Cupid's love arrow struck William's heart when he met Myra Johnson. Realizing -she was the woman for him, William and Myra married April 16, 1977. From this union two children were raised in love, Jerome Johnson and Heather Faulkner. Living life on his terms, William accepted the Lord early in life and became a solider for the Lord in the only way he knew how, Big Will's Way. As a dedicated family man, he spoke the truth as he saw it and stood by any decisions he made. He was a dedicated person who stood firm for his family, friends and his beliefs. He leaves to cherish his memory: his dedicated wife, Myra Faulkner; son, Thomas "Jerome" Johnson; daughter, Heather Faulkner; daughter-in-law, Andrea Johnson; sister, Rosalind Braxton; seven brothers, Ronald Blue (wife Sharon Blue both of Washington, DC), Tyrone Braxton (five brothers preceded in death James, Albert, Anthony, Nathaniel, Gary); two brothers-in-law, Mark Ayers, Norman Ayers; seven grandchildren, Teon, Jermaine, Amira, Marquel, Kyrin, Taliya and Brayon; three devoted friends, Charles Herbert, Joseph Cotton and OUie Thaniel; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
