William J. Giles, son of the late William Giles and Shirley Giles, was born on December 6, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on April 9, 2012 a lengthy illness. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He graduated from Frederick Douglas Senior High School. During his lifetime "Butch," as he was known by friends and family loved to cook and he love to a Richard Pryor act for anyone who would listen. Butch made numerous friends wherever he went, and he will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to mourn; his sister, Lydia Gilmore; two brothers, Clarence Giles and Herbert Giles; aunt; Bertha Gray; two sisters-in-law, Nancy Giles and Edna Giles; and a host of nieces, nephews and a very devoted friend, Audrey Weems. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother Darnell King and Johnny Giles.
