William W. Hamm better known as Bill, to his church family he was Brother Hamm, son of the late David and Mary Hamm was born on January 14, 1932 in Warren, Virginia. He died after a short illness on July 9, 2017.

Brother Hamm was employed at the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation for the racing commission as a state inspector for 35 years where he retired.

Brother Hamm was the husband of Sister Hamm, married August 3, 1986. They both remained married until the time of his death.

To everyone who knew Brother Hamm he was a man of few words, great listener, a favorite to many who knew him, also a devoted family man.

Brother Hamm had a love for animals, fishing and art.

He leaves to mourn: his wife, Veronica; his children, Patricia, Nyron, and Alonzo; grandchildren, Chad, Shaka, Nesfa and Maya; great grand- children, Xavier, London and Shaka Jr.; daughter-in-law, Pamela; grandfather-in-law to Ariel and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
