William G. Jackson, fondly known as Bill, son of the late David and Amy Jackson, was born on February 17, 1940 in Sumter, South Carolina. He was the forth of fifteen children. He departed this life on November 2, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He received his education in Sumter County Schools and Baltimore City Public Schools. He began his employment with Pepsi Cola where he stayed for many years before moving on and retiring from Baltimore City Parks and Recreation in 1995. He met and married Louise Johnson in 1958. from this union, two children were born, a daughter Joyce and a son, who preceded him in death, William Jr., Later in life, he met and married Pearl Martin in 1977, who preceded him in death. Bill was especially close to his aunt and uncle Elliott and /Viola Bradley of Sumter, South Carolina who preceded him in death. He mad numerous friends and will be sincerely missed. He will also be remembered for the many nicknames he had for everyone. "Peachy", "Lovey", Pharaoh", and "Weeba"" being the most popular. He lived life to the fullest. He leaves to mourn; his children, Joyce, Jeffery, a son who preceded him in death, Darrin, Kimberly Walter, and Angelica; grandchildren, Tracey and Troy; great-grandchildren, Ikea Stewart, Troy Henly, Jordon Martin and Tarron Henly; five sisters, David Mae, Hilda, Lola, Saundra, and Amy; three brothers, Willie, Samuel, and Joseph; his siblings, James Allen, Clarence, Mary Emma, Irene, Josephine, and Lula preceded him in death; one aunt, Annie Mae Durham; and his very devoted friend Tanya; and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
