was born June 21, 1954 in Baltimore,
Maryland to the late William and Mary Lann Sr. He departed this life
after a short illness on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the University of
Maryland Medical Center.
He grew up and received his education in the Baltimore City Public
School System. He later decided to serve his country by joining THE
UNITED STATES ARMY.
AI, gave his life to Christ and was baptized at The Hemingway Baptist
Church in Cherry Hill. He was well known and respected throughout
the Cherry Hill Community; everyone called him "BIG Ai". He loved
listening to Oldies But Goodies and spending time with family and
friends. Al loved cooking and joking around. Although he was afraid
of water, he loved going crabbing and fishing. His heart belonged to
CHERRY HILL. You could always find him at the shopping center
playing pinochle with his buddies and cutting up with his friends. His
spirit was infectious.
One of his favorite past times was watching the game with his only
child MAN (Lawrence). Al was very proud, always worked for what he
needed, and his wants were never a priority. He was very good with his
hands and did a lot of odd jobs around the house and the community.
Alleaves to cherish his memory: son, Lawrence R. Dailey II; daughter-
in-law, Nikole L. Dailey; four grandchildren, Lawrence III, [aquan,
J'nyah and Payton; three sisters, Priscilla Lann, Denise Pack (Willie)
and Bernadette Lann; one brother, Hollis Lann (Toni); a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins friends and extended family. He will be sorely missed.
