William ''MULE'' Griffin, the only child of the late Ruth Brown and the late Oscar Griffin, was born on November 9, 1927. ''Mule,'' as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Baltimore City Catholic School System. In 1950 he met Rebecca ''Sug'' Corbin who he later married. He worked for Smith and Salomon Trucking Company for many years, until the company relocated. He later became employed at New England Motor Freight Company where he retired. After retirement his favorite pastime was playing cards with his friends at the club house ''Zero Base''. ''Mule'' was a kind and generous person. He leaves to memory: his devoted wife of many years, Rebecca ''Sug'' Griffin; three daughters, Frances Williams, Teresa Griffin and Rhonda Griffin; stepson, Derek Smith; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, a sister-in-law, a grandson-in-law; cousins, devoted friends, Roosevelt and Maggie Dukes; and and extended host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Forest; stepson, Larry Smith Sr,; two grandchildren , Sean Williams and Robert Walker.
