Pasco

WILLIAM HARDING PASCO JR. the first of five children born to William on July 26, 2022.
H. Pasco Sr, and Lovey G. (Butler) Pasco on April 25, 1956, was called to rest Bill Jr. along with his siblings was raised in a Christian home and attended the family's church Shiloh Christian Community where he came to know the Lord
and sang on the choir.
William, affectionately known to friends and family as "Junior, "Bill, Jr.
"Pasco,
and "Coach" received his education in the Baltimore City Public
School System. He attended Edmondson Senior High School in Baltimore,
Kansas State University.
where he dominated the local basketball courts, and later went on to attend
Pasco was a great basketball player which nobody could deny. He started
playing at the tender age of six and continued for 60 years.
He was one of Bentalou Recreation Center's Legends and affectionally known as
"The 1'* Big Man." He was honored as a Bentalou Bombers Hall of Famera
title not bestowed upon many.
In 1995, William married Rochelle Mabry from which they created and
enjoyed a blended family.
Coach's hobbies varied from traveling, to playing card games, performing
magi tricks, gardening, playing basketball, coaching little league basketball
tears, and lending his soulful vocals to various musical groups.
Pasco worked at the world-renowned Lexington Market and for over 20 years
as a Rental Agent at Pomona Square Apartments. He was also a Horticulturist
and loved all facet of gardening and landscaping.
Junior's personality was upbeat, light-hearted, and fun. If he wasn't telling you
a joke, or a brain teaser like "How old is the bus driver" he had a card trick up
his sleeve and would always tell you how he did it so you could entertain people
the same way he did. As one of the family's Historians, Junior kept in touch
with everyone; young and old, and he was always there to help when needed.
Junior always had a nick name for everyone, especially the youngsters. He
referred to his nephews and their friends "Scrub-Bucket and Whoo-doo" and
they affectionately in turn called him the same.
William was also an excellent dresser and took pride in his appearance.
Everything he wore, from dress clothes to sportswear coordinated. His pride
reflected in the numerous pairs of tennis and shoes he owned, and how he kept
them looking showroom ready.
Bill, Jr. leaves behind a legacy of loved ones including: one daughter, Jessica
Pasco; four step-daughters, Shataia, Tamika, Tonette, and Shandel; one
Goddaughter, Carrie; two sisters, Darlene Davis, Tina Crisp (Phillip); two
brothers Kenneth Pasco and Marvin Pasco; two aunts, Lois Matthews and
Willie Mae Butler; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren 18 nieces and
nephews; nine great-nieces and nephews; a host of cousins; Best Friends, Chuck
Newman and Juanita Kiser; Cloverdale and Bentalou Recreation Families and
Carver Vo-Tech and several friends that span over seven states.
