Obituary

WILLIAM T. POINTER was affectionately known as "Biggie", son of the late Percy & Mabel Pointer, was born on March 18, 1932. The Lord called him into his eternal rest on November 18,2016.

Biggie received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. After graduating from Douglas High School, he went to serve in the United States Air Force for four years. He then went on to retire from the United States Army after 25 years of service.

Biggie has done several tours from the Vietnam war to the Korean war, just to name a few. He was always willing to tell you about the places he'd been. Biggie also received numerous accommodations and awards while serving his country. Following his retirement, Biggie went to work for the State of Maryland and the Federal Government. In 1994, he retired once again.

Biggie was so many things to so many people. He was a neighborhood activist and a volunteer at the Maryland Learning Bank. He was always taking a class to further his

knowledge on a plethora of courses.

Biggie was very loyal outspoken individual who will be missed tremendously.

He leaves to mourn; one daughter, LaVern Tyson; two granddaughters, LaShawn and LaShae; one great grand granddaughter Leah. one sister, Alberta Pointer; four brothers, Jim, Johnny, Sam & Slick who preceded him in death; nine 'nieces, Charlene, Ernestine, Dorothy, Denise, Valerie, Shirl, Monique, Kay and April; three nephews, Lou, Larry & William (Pnut), and a lifelong devoted friend Lillian Scott.
