William Womack, Sr. was born on June 28,1938 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Louis Womack, Sr., and Kate Womack (Easley). On Sunday, November 17, 2013, he departed this life after a brief illness. William accepted Christ in his life through Brown's Memorial Church. Despite the amount of education he received, he still managed to provide for himself. He worked for Park Sausages for numerous years to provide for his family. Upon leaving Park Sausages, "Shad/Huggy" as he was also known, began to reach his goals and became an entrepreneur. His siblings Pearlene, Helen Mary, Louis Sr., Irene, Elizabeth, Nathan, and Ruthalee preceded him in death. William leaves to cherish, his wife of thirty-four years, Aurelia Womack; sister, Patsy Rhyanes; nine sons, Larry (Belinda), William Jr. (Mary), Arthur (Donna), Ray, Donnell, Aaron, Anthony, Andre, and Tyrone (Stephanie); four daughters, Shannin, Erica, Shawron (Dwayne); and Tracee; sister in-laws, Peggy and Etta Mae Womack; thirty-one grandchildren; 27 great-grand children; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
