Willie Lee Caldwell, age 93, was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina. May 26, 1912 and accepted Christ at an early age. She was the yungest daughter of Mary and Joseph Wilkes and was preceded in death by her sister, Bertha Brown. She lsot her devoted husband, Lawrence, in 1983. She was the mother of four devoted sons, Alexander deceased, Roosevelt Lorraine, Carmichael Elizabeth, and Lawrence, Jr. Geneva. She had six grandsons and daughters, Vincent, Lionel, Larry deceased, Denise deceased, Michele and Carmichael, Jr. She was an old fashioned mother who was a housewife, never working outside the home. Her husband and her boys enjoyed this because she could indulge her passion for cooking. They especially enjoyed her hamburgers and gravy, sweet potato pone, lemon and coconut pies and iced tea. She loved the Lord and read her Bible each day after breakfast. We will miss her.
