IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Willie "Boobie"
Colclough, Jr.
January 9, 1956 – June 7, 2017
Willie Colclough, Jr., affectionately called "Boobie", was bornJanuary 9, 1956 to the late Willie M. Colclough, Sr. and Elizabeth R. Colclough. He departed this life June 7, 2017.
Willie was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and held employment with White Wing Janitorial Services, the University of Maryland Hospital and Goodwill Industries of Maryland until illness rendered him disabled.
Although met by many health challenges, Willie was a connoisseur of all types of music with his favorite being Heavy Metal and Rock. At home he played his collection of electric guitars and the sound would resonate throughout his home and the neighborhood. In addition, Willie was known for his unique sense of style and fashion as was evident in the way he loved to dress.
Prior to the passing of his devoted father in 2011, Willie and his sister Minnie began sharing a home together. Minnie, whom he gave the nickname Candy, became his caretaker as well as his best friend. Candy and her daughter Jamie were always with him and ensured that all his needs were met including accompanying him to doctor appointments, the movies, and evenings out to his favorite restaurants.
Willie began his religious life at a young age at the Mount Hope Baptist Church under the pastorship of the late Reverend Andrew D. Nance. He continued his Christian walk, with his sister Minnie, by attending the Greater Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church. Willie was baptized by the Chaplin at Bon Secours Hospital and Pastor Joseph Davis prayed and ministered to him while he was in the Seasons Hospice.
He leaves to mourn his passing his loving mother, Elizabeth R. Colclough; two sisters: Lona Griffin-Sess and Minnie R Colclough; three brothers: Eugene Neal (Vera), Gary W. Neal (Gloria) and Lauren W. Colclough; five nieces: Yvette, Latonya, Charlotte, Linea and Jamie; three nephews: Kevin, Keith, and Marcus; two aunts: Lucille Johnson and Martha Moore; four uncles: Henry (Marion) Ben, Robert and Leon, and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
