Obituary

WILLIE LEE NELSON went home to God on Monday, August 15, 2011. Willie, the father of the late Willie Lee Nelson Jr. and the late Paula E. Benjamin and Edward James Nelson Sr., was born on May 24, 1965. Willie was a resident of Baltimore and was educated in the Baltimore City School System. He completed a home remodeling course and received his CDL license. Willie was also a resident of Sumter, SC, where he owned a single family home Lee, as he was often called, gave his life to Christ at an early age. He knew and loved the Lord. He owned and operated a tractor trailer for many years while also working on houses and fixing cars. I quess you could call him a "jack of all trades." Lee was a quiet soul with a beautiful smile. He enjoyed making people laugh, fishing, crabbing, watching westerns, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will be missed by many. Willie laves to mourn: two sisters, Vera Edmonds and Flora Wilson of Baltimore, MD; a brother, Edward Nelson Jr. and sister-in-law, Charmaine Nelson, both of Miami, Florida; four nieces, Lenise Edmonds, Angel Wilson, Deana Edmonds, Jason Wilson Jr. Dominique Isaiah Kenneth Wilson, Kenneth Nelson Jr. and Dwight and Dayne Neath; aunt Annie Pearl Nelson of Miami, Fl, Maggie Hattie Mae Bradley of SC, Gerdine Nelson of NJ, Maryanne Nelson, Dollbaby Nelson of SC, Annie Smith and Barbra Martin of Baltimore, MD; four uncles, George Nelson Sr. of MJ, Alfonzo Nelson, Herbert Nelson and Larry Bradley of SC; five great-nieces, Zinay, Kennedy, Dellia, Aubree and Deaira; one great-nephew, Damon, ad a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
