son of the late Mattie Lee Nesbitt and Willie Guy Nesbitt
Sr. was born on December 10, 1935. After a lengthy illness he departed this
earthly life on January 4, 2017.
He received his education in South Carolina. Willie went into the United States
Army for 4 years and departed with an honorable discharged. He moved to
Baltimore, Maryland. Willie got a job working at Sparrows Point for several
years. He was also a Mason Brother of the Harem Grand Lodge.
Willie married his beloved late wife, Wachovia Queenaster Cherry Nesbitt, of this
union they had nine loving children.
Willie leaves to cherish his memory: three sons, Ivole Nesbitt, Huston Jones, and
Johnny Cherry; one stepson, Glen Mitchell; six daughters, Juanita Worrell,
Deliah Whitaker, Willette Motley, Sheila Ford, Janice Nesbitt, and Kim Nesbitt;
one daughter-in-law, late Monica Nesbitt; one surrogate daughter, Baronica
Smith; five sons-in-law, Kenneth Worrell, Donald Motley, Benjamin Meekins,
Rodney Johnson and late Lamont Ford; two brothers, Eugene Nesbitt and late
Roger Nesbitt; six sisters, Jane Nesbitt, Cora Nesbitt, Janice Booker, Betty Jo
Nesbitt, and late Geraldine Nesbitt and Shirley Nesbitt - Ballenger of South
Carolina. A host of thirty grandchildren, forty-eight great grandchildren, three
great great grandchildren, cherished nieces, nephews, and other relatives and
friends.
