YVETIE C. BROWN was born on January 27, 1956 to
Mattie Norris and Arthur Cooper. She was born in Baltimore
MD. She departed this life on Thursday, December 10, 2015
peacefully at home.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St.
Bernadine's Church. Yvette graduated from Western High
School in 1974. She then married her soulmate, William
Brown on November 24, 1979 and from this union two
children, William and Denise Brown were born. They were
married for thirty-six years.

Yvette worked as a family support worker at the Baltimore
County Department of Social Services for twenty-eight
years. Within those years, Yvette led many Nurturing
Groups and helped to facilitate many Parenting Groups. She
was also an active member of AFSCME Local 112 Council
ninety-two for many years. She was well respected by her
colleagues.

In her leisure, she enjoyed reading, listening to music,
traveling and watching her favorite mystery shows. Yvette
enjoyed helping others and spending time with her family.
She was also an active member of Harvest Christian
Ministries Church.

Yvette made numerous friends wherever she went and will
be. truly missed by everyone who knew her. She leaves to
cherish her memory: a loving and devoted husband, William
Brown; son, William Brown; daughter, Denise Brown; step
daughter, Okeecha Brown; seven grandchildren, Aundrea,
Damon, Danaya, Malachi, Micaiah, William and Isaiah;
two great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Sarah Lewis; three
sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; son-in-law; aunt and a host
