YVONNE GASKIN, the eighth child born to Freddie Gaskin Sr. and the
late Mary (Logan) Gaskin arrived on December 26, 1963 in Baltimore,
Maryland.

Yvonne's oldest brother, Chesterfield, nicknamed her "Buckwheat"
later her name was shortened to "Buckey".

Yvonne accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Canaan
Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Hammond
Fews. She participated as a Junior Usher and sang on the youth choir.

Educated in the Baltimore City Public School System, she graduated
from Harbor City High School. There she studied food service and
preparation. Yvonne worked at the Federal Building in the cafe for
several years. She later found her passion in childcare. She watched
many kids in her day. Ki.ds loved Aunt Yvonne or Miss Yvonne, as they
called her. During the summer she ran a successful frozen cup business.

She met the love of her life Tyrone "Tidy" Hudson Jr. and they dated
for over twenty years. They were truly i.nseparable. When you saw
one, you saw the other. Yvonne loved life and enjoyed getting a party
started. She liked dancing and having a great time, but when she was
ready to go, she was ready to go! Yvonne touched many lives and will
be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Mary (Logan) Gaskin;
two brothers, Chesterfield and Freddie, [r.; her sister, Brenda Gaskin;
her nephew, Vernon Gray [r.; and the love of her life, Tyrone 'Tidy'
Hudson, Jr.'

Yvonne leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Freddie Gaskin,
Sr.; four sisters, Louise Gaskin, Maxine Gray, [erline Gaskin and Regina
Brown; one brother, Jerry Gaskin; two brothers-in-law Robert Gray,
Sr., and Harry Brown, Sr.; five nieces, Cassandra, Sabrena, Tiffany,
Ashley and Patrice; ten nephews, Terrell, Jerrell, Byron, Davon, Deyon,
Devin, Harry, [r., Jason, Justin and Bryant; nine great nieces, ten great
nephews, and one great-great niece, two aunts, one uncle; and a host of
cousins and friends.
