HONORARY SUPREME GRAND SHEIKESS
YVONNE D. GREEN-EL
She joined the M.S.T.of A. Inc. on Feb 4,1976, and has
been a faithful member unto this day. Yvonne became
a Ressurector, and a Sheikess in the same year. She
met Sk. Donnie Carter-Bey and they became obligated
in 1976. From this union they were blessed with three
sons, Cushi, Kihem, and Malachi. In 1992 she became a
Grand Sheikess and Divine Minister of the Moorish
Science Temple of America.
In 1997, she met and married Bro. Erik Green-El.
The Grand Sheikess, Sheikess Yvonne, Moabite,
Sister Yvonne, and Gee Gee(Grateful Grand Mother),
by grand daughter Hailee Ania Harris, and Grandma
Yvonne by her other grand childern, Kayla Carter-Bey,
Kaleel Carter-Bey, Kynnedi Carter-Bey, Kush Carter-
Bey, and Kweli Carter-Bey.
a Geriatric Nursing Assist License, and from the M.B.O.N
with a CMT License. She attended CoppinState College
as well as BCCC. She spent most of her life taking care
of patients. The Grand Sheikess was a generously loving
person who would give her last to help someone else.
She loved traveling, cruises and cooking. Everyone
loved coming over for dinner, or just stopping by,
especially for some spaghetti & shrimp, or chicken salad,
not to mention that cheese cake will never be forgotten.
But spending time with her child ern and grand childern,
along with being in the M.S.T. of A. Inc., made her
happiest of all.
She is survived and celebrated by her three loving sons,
Sheik Cushi Carter-Bey, Sheik Kihem Carter-Bey, and
Bro. Malachi Carter-Bey. Her daughter in-laws, Latasha
Carter-Bey, Sylvia Carter-Bey, and Arlene Carter-Bey,
a sister, Wendy Franklin, and her sister Mary A. Neal.
She has four brothers, Pete Branden, John H. Smith,
Jerald H. Smith-Bey, and Amonte Smith-Bey, and
the grand child ern previously mentioned, and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family relatives.
