Yvonne "Jlander" Johnson, daughter ofthe late William Johnson
Sr. and Mary 'Liz" Johnson was born January 11, 1969 in
Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on April 17, 2018.
Yvonne accepted Christ into her life and was baptized at an early
age.
Yvonne received her education in the Baltimore City Public
Schools. She grew up in East Baltimore in the Lafayette housing
units where she was loved and well known. Yvonne was best
known as Jlander to her family and friends. Jlander was a loving,
kind, compassionate, happy and considerate person. She loved
spending time with her daughter and her grandchildren. Holidays
were very special to her as she spent time with her family. Family
meant everything to her. Jlander loved music and liked to sing and
dance. Her favorite artists were "Kern and R' Kelly." She always
assisted others when there were special occasions like Birthdays,
Cookouts, Baby Showers etc. Jlander was an easy going person,
always smiling and full of joy. Her hobbies included eating crabs
and taking pictures like a photographer. Her favorite saying was
"You Already Know!" To know her was to love her. Jlander
touched many people that she knew.
Family
Jlander leaves cherished and fond memories to her daughter
Chimere Johnson. Two grandchildren; Chimaya McBride and
Cornelius McBride Jr. One sister' Clara "Trina" Johnson. Two
brothers (who preceded her in death); Carlos Johnson Sr. and
William Johnson Jr. Three aunts; Geraldine Anderson, Bumetta
Johnson and Diane White. One uncle; Robert Taylor of White
Plains, NY. Five nieces: Tania Johnson, Jenai Davis, Sharron
Johnson, Gwendolyn Johnson and Lakia Johnson. Three nephews;
Lamont Johnson, Carlos Johnson Jr. and Jeffrey Davis Jr. Jlander
also leaves three godchildren; Keith, Kenneth and Kevin. A close
companion James and a host of godchildren, great nieces and
nephews, cousins and friends that loved her dearly.
