Yvonne Pinkney, born in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Mary Kitchings and George Scriber. Yvoruie was born on October 12, 1950 and God called her home on October 16,2014. She was known as "MaMa to many, she loved to hang out with family and friends, play Pokeno, talking on the phone and she also made sure that she watched every court TV. show that existed, but going to church was at the top of her list. She attended Edmondson High School where she received her High School Diploma. Yvonne worked for Sinai Hospital for over 30 years, and during this time she received a degree in Social Work at Sojourner Douglass College. She also worked for Blind Industries for 7 years. Yvonne loved her family with all of her heart, she was the back bone of the family, she was the one that wasn't afraid to get you straight when you did wrong, and she did it with love and praise. "MaMa" might not of had the answer to all your problems, but she always had a good word of prayer.
